Reading Weekly Bias Before the Open
Multi-timeframe work fails most often when traders skip the weekly map and jump straight to the execution chart. Before the open, spend ten minutes on the weekly candle: where is the last swing high and low, and is price pressing into a prior range or leaving one?
Write a single sentence bias—“weekly holding above last swing low; looking for daily pullback buys”—and keep that sentence visible while you mark the daily. If the daily contradicts the weekly sentence without a clear break, you wait.
This habit does not predict the day. It narrows which lower-timeframe ideas you are allowed to consider, which is usually enough to cut impulsive trades.
